A memory-resident data base containing eighteen different bilingual or multilingual dictionaries, all together seven million words. The search system allows users to find definitions and translations in any of twelve languages: Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish. Can be used independently or linked to the most commonly used word processing software (except systems in graphics mode or with a 43-line display).
System requirements: IBM PC, PC AT/XT, or most IBM compatibles; minimum 256K RAM; MS-DOS (PC-DOS) 3.1 up; 2 disk drives or hard disk; PC-AT keyboard; black-and-white or color display; IBM Proprinter (or whichever printer is compatible with the user's word processing system); CD-ROM drive (Song, Toshiba, Hitachi, JVC, Sanyo, Philips).
